Could you design without electricity?

That's the challenge Ad agency Leo Burnett Lisbon gave themselves when commissioned to create a brochure for EDP Group’s Access to Energy (A2E) campaign, which aims to bring electricity to communities in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Amazon.

"Energy and development are indivisible. Of all forms of exclusion, electric exclusion is the most significant. Approximately 1.4 billion people still lack access to electricity, and approximately 3 billion people depend on fossil fuels as their primary energy source."

This project while time-consuming and laborious, highlights in a creatively visual way just how much our modern world relies on electricity, and what it would mean to do without.
